Mr. Mark Thomas and Mr. William Ingram, of the Thomas Dealerships and Mr. John McGregor, Mr. Willard Campbell and Mr. Donald Devorris, Of the Team Dealerships are very excited to announce that Thomas Honda and Team Chevrolet will merge their dealership operations together and operate as Thomas Team Honda. Thomas Honda will relocate from Bantley Place in Windber to 1920 Bedford Street in Johnstown, (the current Team Chevrolet location) in the very near future. The Honda line up has consistently received top automotive industry awards for vehicle safety, high resale values, low maintenance costs, and excellent fuel efficiency.

New Chevrolets will no longer be sold at this location, however all extended service contracts, regular service maintenance and repairs, on all makes and models including Chevrolets will continue to be serviced at the same location on Bedford Street, by the same excellent technicians. All GM warranty work will be performed at one of the other Thomas or Team GM dealerships. All GM warranty work can be scheduled through the Bedford Street Location.

This merger will create the largest auto agency in the area for New and Pre-owned sales, service and parts. Employment is expected to increase by 20% over the next two years. The current dealership will undergo a major renovation to create a brand new state of the art Honda facility. The new location provides easy access for customers to Richland and Route 219, downtown Johnstown and surrounding areas. The new facility is 25,000 sq.ft. and sits on 6 acres capable of housing over 500 new and pre owned vehicles. The merger will also create a huge networking of over 1,000 pre owned vehicles for the customer to choose from.
