Russell Brooks, the author of Pandora's Succession, Unsavory Delicacies, and Chill Run, has started an IndieGogo campaign to help produce his upcoming thriller, The Demeter Code.
The Demeter Code is a breakneck thriller that reunites CIA operatives, Ridley Fox and Doctor Nita Parris. When an op goes wrong, resulting in the assassination of an arms dealer and the theft of valuable intel, Fox and Parris race against a team of assassins to not only track down the thief, but to also recover a mysterious chemical formula that's believed to be linked to a series of cover-ups. One that may include the creation of a powerful biological weapon.
In order to help cover costs related to editing and publishing, Brooks has launched a 60-day crowdfunding campaign on IndieGogo.com where he hopes to raise a minimum of $3000. In exchange for your contribution, you'll receive gifts that include eBooks and paperbacks of his previous novels, a copy of The Demeter Code when it's released, and even a cameo appearance in a future novel. Contribution range from as little as $5 (for 3 thriller eBooks that cost $9 on Amazon) to $500. The campaign has already gained some momentum after its first week and will end on May 2, 2013.

Russell Brooks has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to be an Indiana Hoosier Track Champion and Canadian Track Team member in the 100 and 200 meters. His BS in Biology from Indiana University helped him write his first thriller, Pandora's Succession, followed by the short story thriller collection Unsavory Delicacies. This was followed by Chill Run. Brooks currently lives in Montreal, Quebec.
