Tickets Are Now on Sale for the 2nd Annual NYC Twestival on March 25th, 2010 in Support of Concern Worldwide

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 21, 2010 -- On Thursday, March 25th, 2010, people in hundreds of cities around the world will come together offline to support Concern Worldwide by hosting local events organized through social media. As one of the largest events of its kind in the world, NYC Twestival will play host to thousands of people, raising funds for and awareness of Concern’s vitally important work around the world. An entirely volunteer-organized event, 100% of all ticket sales and donations will go directly to the cause.

Concern Worldwide has received a $100,000 national challenge grant from the Entrepreneurs Foundation/Austin Ventures. The group will match every dollar raised by Twestival up to $100K.

NYC Twestival headline sponsor PepsiCo is joined by Bing CNN, Flavorpill, Foursquare, Mashable, Popchips and Thrillist.

The NYC Twestival will feature live DJ’s, auction, cash bar and renowned origami artist Sok Song, who will be designing giant origami Twitter birds for the event.
