TiE Chennai Celebrates Entrepreneurship with the launch of a Coffee Table Book

Nungambakkam, Chennai, India, Republic of (Free-Press-Release.com) January 6, 2012 -- TiE Chennai (The Indus Entrepreneurs) a global not-for-profit organization, dedicated to promote entrepreneurship, today launched a book “Dream To Destiny – The Driving Spirit of Chennai’s Entrepreneurs”. The Coffee Table book was launched by Mr. G. Srinivasan, Chairman & MD of United India Insurance and the first copy of the book was presented to the Guest of Honour Mr. V.T. Bharadwaj, Managing Director, Sequoia Capital.

This book showcases 35 entrepreneurs of Chennai; including mentors, startups, women and social entrepreneurs from Chennai. To name a few, Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala-Rural Technology Business Incubator, IIT Madras, Saundarya Rajesh-Avatar, Ranjini Manian-Global Adjustments, Raghupathy BG-BGR Energy Systems, Ranganathan CK, Cavincare, as well as a host of social and startup entrepreneurs have been profiled in the book. The foreword of the book is written by Mr. Gopal Srinivasan, Chairman & Managing Director, TVS Capital Funds Ltd.
Speaking at the book launch, G. Srinivasan, Chairman & MD, United India Insurance, said, “It is a great initiative by TiE Chennai and the success stories of these entrepreneurs are an inspiration.
