TiMed officially launched our state-of-the-art MR systems – Hybrid PICA and Hybrid MONA, that will improve imaging quality of conventional MRI systems of the same field by 200% to 500%. Prof Q.Y. Ma, Chairman and CEO of TiMed said: “The PICA and MONA MR systems are the first commercial step of the company and start the path to many new MR product introductions in the future. Our company’s innovative and proprietary HTS technology enable the low field 0.2T MONA and 0.35T PICA MR systems to generate Middle and High Field image results respectively. Our next step is to use our HTS technology to make High Field MR systems generate Ultra-High Field results!”

On Sept 26th 2009, TiMed held the grand opening of its main production facility in China Medical City (CMC) in Taizhou. This phase one facility spans over 80,000 sq fts with the capability to initially produce 160 MRI systems per year, making it the largest MRI production site in Asia (outside Japan), to serve the global market.

CMC is China’s newly-formed national hi-tech park dedicated to Biomedical and Pharma industries and already attracted over 150 MNCs and China local biotech companies to set up their R&D and manufacture facilities. TiMed is the major medical device company in CMC, receiving strong support from the local government.

The opening ceremony was graced by distributor partners from more than 10 countries around the world, intending to finalize partnership with TiMed to begin our worldwide sales operation. Governmental officials from Jiangsu province and Taizhou City are guest of honors for the grand opening ceremony.
