The KAREN FOUNDATION for MS, The National MS Society, and ESPN 850 WKNR are teaming up
Tenth Annual Event raises money for families in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland, OH: April 24, 2010 – In celebration of NFL Draft Day, the tenth anniversary of the NFL Draft Day Benefit Party for Multiple Sclerosis is set for Saturday, April 24 at Fat Fish Blue (21 Prospect Ave E – at the corner of Prospect Avenue and Ontario Street) in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

All proceeds will benefit The Karen Foundation for MS (TKF), which is recognized as the largest third-party donor to the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. Fundraising from the previous year’s event helped provide over 150 families in Northeast Ohio with homecare and respite services.

Janet Kramer, President of the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National MS Society stated, "With its generous gifts, The Karen Foundation for MS focuses our sights on the Respite Program and the important short-interval care that it provides to families of persons with MS who have significant disabilities."

President of the TKF Board of Directors, Joe Bradley said, “For the last 10 years the goal of The Karen Foundation has been to provide families in our area not only hope, but immediate help. We are thrilled at the response we have received, and look forward to celebrating our tenth anniversary this year.”

Musical entertainment kicks off the party at 1 p.m. and lasts all night. Admission is $30 per person pre-sale ($35 at the door) and includes a donation to The Karen Foundation, hors d’oeuvres, two drink tickets, a raffle ticket for a large flat screen LCD television, and access to the best silent auction in town. Entertainment throughout the day and night will be provided by Morrison/McCarthy, Light of Two Moons, Muffy & The Divers, and Fox 8 and ESPN 850 host Tony Rizzo with The Really Big Show Band. Cleveland Browns players and other special guests including a balloon artist, caricature artist, psychic, manicurist and stilt walkers will be offering something for everyone on Draft Day.
