The following night, Thursday, April 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the live results show will determine who stays in the competition and who is sent home. In addition, Grammy Award-winning Rihanna will perform and Season One IDOL winner Kelly Clarkson and country music superstar Jason Aldean will perform their duet, “Don’t You Wanna Stay.”

The last week surprising elimination of Pia Toscano illustrates the importance of everyone voting for their favorite, or favorites in the two hours after the show. Steven Tyler contended that the vote showed an "unforgivable" lack of passion on the voters' part. "They're wrong. I don't know what happened with this," he said.
