Avalanche put on display an armory of £2Million worth of all the Bond guns at a glitsy launch party.
One of Manchester's top Italian restaurants Avalanche Restaurant &Bar hosted an exclusive invite only Bond evening. The evening was full of 007 fans, very distinguished clients of the restaurant and well known celebrities in order to honour the James Bond movie Sky Fall and the 50 year anniversary of the franchise and its contribution it has made to the big screen and television worldwide.
£2m worth of original movie armoury was displayed and under the watchful eyes of the armed guards, guests were able to pose and handle such superb pieces of movie history and play on the 'Casino Royale' black jack and roulette gaming tables to win one off Bond prizes. 200 people attended the evening arriving in a typical James Bond Fashion in tuxedos and dinner gowns with the street lined with Aston Martins, Bentleys and Rolls Royce's. They were welcomed in style with bond girls and complementary cocktails to the extent that James Bond himself would have been proud. There was a high security presence on the evening from plain clothed and uniformed police officers to personal security teams that accompanied the many dignitary's and VIP clients that attended the event. The Martinis were flowing until the early hours of the morning, the night was a huge success and this prestigious restaurant promises many like it in the future.
