For the construction of a radio control car LRK motor "pure" we need a 12-pole stator, we no longer will serve those obtained from CD-ROM readers because they are typically 9-pin.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 4, 2012 -- When you begin learning about radio control car circuits and systems, you can get to know how to get a reaction! If you study the diagram you will notice that each phase is wound with two parts where the winding direction is different. The purpose of this is that when the current flow in one part of the coil generates on the outside pole N, while the other part generates S. Winding it is very important to run the engine properly!
LRK star
For the star connection you should be considered the beginning and end of each winding, thus the star diagram would be:

- All endings are connected
- LRK on triangle
- LRK connected triangle
The LRK radio control car motor is very popular in Europe and this is because there are plans to build before they appear from these engines using CD-ROM. The LRK are usually built by builders and more advanced engines requiring good job on the lathe. A 12-pole stator interesting is larger than a CD-ROM, resulting in hand-made materials. There have been engines of about 2KW of power!
Operation

Once you know the LRK winding scheme, let's see how it works around the rotor. The principle of rotation is exactly the same as a CD-ROM motor.
A radio control car speed controller has three wires from where it connects to the engine. The three wires carry the control of the circulation of current through the motor, thanks to the on and off FETs having the drive. The current is then circulated in 6 specific directions again and again.

This series of steps is known as switching sequence, or simply switching. So if we apply the commutation to the motor windings can imagine the generated magnetic poles around the stator. The current passes through the common node (where it joins the 3 coils) to the tooth 3 and once again generates an N pole to finish going through the tooth 9 generating another S and closing the radio control car circuit.
Current from A to B
Then, using the entire switching sequence, we see the rotating magnetic field around the stator. You will note that it takes 6 cycles to drive out for a spin of the magnetic field. With the radio control car engine completely powered by the drive speed, the rotor is positioned at the given position, it consists of 14 magnets each of which is a pole which, being attracted or repelled by the coils.
