There are reports of hospitals collapsing during the event that left many trapped and already in need of medical attention before the earthquake in Haiti. The massive number of dead has still been unable to get any kind of count yet. Haiti Red Cross runs out of body bags for the dead as they only had about 50,000 of them. Then with the loss of water and electric, you will see a rise in the spread of disease in Haiti as a result after the devastation of the earthquake in Haiti.

In 1994 3 massive hurricanes hit Haiti and the United States sent aid during that time of need and devastation as well. You can see C-130's flying into Haiti like seagulls and over population at the airports. Travel in and out is very cluttered and hectic causing airports in Port Du Prince to bottle neck.
