FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 28, 2009 -- Tourism Corporation Africa's, Director of Public Relations, Gerdi Swanepoel has announced that the comapny has further expansion plans in 2010. 2009 has been a year in which we have shown continued growth, in what has been one of the work recessions in 76 years.

"We have learnt and observed from others who have grown rapidly and have rather chosen a conservative and progressive approach" over what has been 16 years.

The company, headed by "The Roving Ambassador", Andrew Shapland, is entering its 16th year of sustainable business and encompasses some of the most beautful privately owned game lodges and hotels on the African Continent, as well as the "Southern African" owned Villa Mangiacane in Tuscany, Italy. It is unique.

"2010 is going to be exciting" Swanepoel with a sense of love and passion. In January 2010 Morukuru Lodges will join us on the Madikwe Reserve, as did Lodge on The Bay in Plettenberg Bay in November 2009, which added to Tintswalo Lodges being promoted by "The Roving Ambassasdor" and the acclaimed Azura Island Retreat, in Mozambique.

This is complimented by the confirmed renewal of our preferred marketing partnerships with: British Airways PLC, Lufthansa German Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines and regional carrier "Airlink". It has been hinted a further and final airline partner may be announced towards the end of January 2010.

Tourism Corporation Africa is bonded by "SATSA" (Southern African Tourism Services Association) and is a member of APTA (Association for the Promotion of Tourism to Africa) in the USA, as well as the long standing and highly recognised assocation ATA (Africa Travel Association) based in New York, USA, which is the oldest association of its kind.

Tourism Corporation Africa is an "eco friendly" company, committed to uplifting previously disadvantaged communities through sustainable tourism, Black Economic Empowerment as well conservation and wildlife.

It is one of the most successful "models" of its kind on the African Continent today. Tourism Corporation Africa is committed to suporting the needs of the travel trade (and working through the travel trade)within its target markets, the media and all who have a business, which is committed to the development of tourism on the African Continent. It has estblished close and strategically important ties with "VIRTUOSO" in the USA, the worlds largest travel network and the highly respected "Signature Travelnetwork", also based in the USA.

The Roving Ambassador formally worked with The Government Of Malta within The Ministry of Tourism and Economic Affairs on a project with was partially sponsored by the United Nations and European Union. His background is "impeccable" and he brings over 25 years of experience within the tourism sector at highly exceptionally senior levels. Experienced and highy respected Cape Town Attorney's, Lawrence Whitaker (Chairman Herold Gie Attorney's) and Stefan Le Roux (Director, Herold Gie Attorneys who is also a qualified solicitor in England and Wales) act as advisors to the board.
