TraillWorks Gallery Exhibit to Benefit Lung Cancer Research
TraillWorks presents, "Jennie Traill Schaeffer: REGROUPED" running now until February 28th. Opening reception will be on February 4th, from 5-8pm. 10% of each sale will go to lung cancer research.

TraillWorks Gallery kick starts the New Year with their first exhibit, “Jennie Traill Schaeffer: REGROUPED”, running now through February 28th. The opening reception will be held on February 4th, from 5PM-8PM, and refreshments will be provided.
In honor of Jennie’s mother-in-law, Judy Goldberg, who recently battled and survived lung cancer in 2011, 10% of every piece purchased will go directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering Lung Cancer Research. Additionally, Jennie will be offering her work at 10% off through the duration of the exhibit.

http://www.traillworks.com REGROUPED will feature various works by Jennie Traill Schaeffer, ranging from a frustrated and determined self-portrait to her more recent still lives revolving around domesticity and womanhood. Mostly large-scale oil paintings, the pieces are vibrant, textural playgrounds, which bring Jennie’s inner thoughts, feelings and emotions to life. This exhibit paves the way for an exciting year ahead at TraillWorks Gallery.
Jennie Traill Schaeffer, owner of TraillWorks Gallery, grew up in Easton, PA and holds a BFA in painting from Syracuse University. Schaeffer’s works have earned her publication in the New York Times, the Village Voice and the Star Ledger. She was also a recipient of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Scholarship for a month-long residency at Peter’s Valley Craft Center. This February, Schaeffer’s works will be featured at Krave Café and Caterers, located in Newton, NJ. Schaeffer founded TraillWorks in 2005 out of her Boonton apartment. In her current space here on Spring Street, she is able to pursue her own artistic ventures, exhibit in a formal gallery space as well as teach in a designated lesson space. Currently she and her husband, Lee call Newton, NJ home with their young son, Joel and dog, Ringo.
TraillWorks: Studio, Gallery, and Lesson space is located at 214 Spring Street, 1st Floor, in Newton, NJ, and is open Tuesday and Wednesday 12-6pm, 12-8pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and Sunday 11-4pm. The contemporary gallery features artist/owner, Jennie Traill Schaeffer’s paintings, drawings, and prints as well as original, artisan-made jewelry and art by emerging and established guest artists.
