Cavers Dave and Ellie May have found a great treasure inside a mountain in the small Arabian country of Ja’alan. Two local boys, Hassan and Ali, have followed them into the mountain through a small tunnel known only to them. But when they reach the main cavern, they find that sinister armed men are abseiling down into it. Fearful for their friends, they follow the men deep into the cave system until they reach the edge of a vast underground lake. They see Dave and Ellie May, illuminated by their headlamps, in an inflatable boat, far out in the darkness. But the men have seen them too and are fitting silencers to their guns
