In an online survey carried out among its thousands of mature members, over 50’s travel review website Silver Travel Advisor (www.silvertraveladvisor.com), has come up with its members’ top choice of

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 19, 2011 -- In an online survey carried out among its thousands of mature members, over 50’s travel review website Silver Travel Advisor (www.silvertraveladvisor.com), has come up with its members’ top choice of the year’s perfect celebrity to travel with.

Stephen Fry was most frequently mentioned as the ideal male travel partner, while Joanna Lumley was the clear winner among a wide ranging choice of top female travelling companions that also included wine expert Jilly Goolden, Queen Elizabeth II and Miss Marple.

Explorer David Attenborough was a popular choice among those looking for an informed commentary abroad, and came in third position, while members more interested in the view selected David Beckham. The self proclaimed `idiot abroad’, Karl Pilkington, came fourth overall while X-Factor judge and boy band member Gary Barlow scraped in ahead of silver haired TV personality, Phillip Schofield, in fifth place.
