Travel Writers Association Launches New Website and Achieves Membership Milestone

A new web site for the Travel Writers Association goes live today on the World Wide Web. The website aims to attract a broader audience of travel writers, bloggers, publishers, travel related business owners and corporation executives. Additionally, the new web site features expanded content including a members only discussion board, and, spotlights on members in the news including a new book releases section.

"The new website enables our members to have a more personal and interactive experience" says Tina Smith, Founder of Travel Writers Association. "It also allows us to become united in one physical location since our membership is world-wide. Additionally, non-members will have the chance to explore our bookstore, purchase tickets for various charity fund raisers we sponsor and learn more about our organization."

About The Travel Writers Association
The Travel Writers Association is brand new and was founded in July, 2010. It is both a professional and social network of travel writers, bloggers, publishers, travel related business and corporation executives and those with charitable spirit. The organization's secondary mission is to raise money for various charities that relate to travel and/or the environment and/or food and water and/or humanitarian aid.

In just one month's time the Travel Writers Association has grown to over 1,000 members, and, shows no sign of slowing down. Members vary from professional television and radio broadcasters to travel guidebook and book publishers, travel writers, hotel mangers, limousine company owners, and various travel related business executives and CEOs. Other Travel Writers Association members include United Nations Goodwill Ambassadors, radio and television personalities, and, luxury magazine publishers.

Membership Information
Travel Writers Associations offers two different membership levels:

Public Level: $50 per year.
Applications are reviewed on a case by case basis.

Corporate Level: $1,000 per year
Includes 20 membership slots.

Advertising and Sponsorship Information

The Travel Writers Association has advertising and sponsorship opportunities available. Current corporate advertisers and sponsors include Frommer's Guidebooks, HK Hotels, Luxury Lifestyle Group, Denise's Travel Agency, Gift of Travel and Context Travel.

Travel Writers Association is currently accepting applications for sponsorship of its first charity fund raising event which will be announced shortly.
