Treloar’s Disabled School and College Celebrate Exam Results
Students and pupils at Treloar's school and college for physically disabled children in Hampshire are celebrating another year of success in exam results.

Once again pupils and students at the Treloar specialist disabled school and college in Alton, Hampshire, have excelled in recent GCSE and A Level exam results this year.
Treloar School and College are operated by Treloar Trust which provides education, care, therapy, medical support and independence training to young people with physical disabilities from all over the UK and overseas. The long-term goal of Treloar’s is to create a world where physically disabled young people learn to take control of their lives and dare to dream.

http://www.treloar.org.uk/ Treloar’s students studying for ‘A’ level exams at both Treloar College and nearby Alton College undertook a total of 50 exams and of these 94% were passed. Just over half of these exam grades were higher than predicted. At Treloar College there were also 5 GCSE results and all were passed with ‘A’ to ‘C’ grades.
There were also impressive GCSE results achieved by pupils at Treloar School, a specialist school for physically disabled children.
At Treloar School there were 56 GCSE results and all exams were passed; of these 73% were achieved with ‘A’ to ‘C’ grades. There were a further 9 ICT National awards taken and all of these were passed. At Entry Level, 87 pass certificates were achieved across 9 subject areas.
A spokesperson for Treloar's said that these were "another set of fantastic exam results “ and wished “well done to students and staff for their hard work and dedication".
Founded in 1907 by the then Lord Mayor of the City of London, Treloar’s is a registered charity with an annual turnover of around £19 million. Patrons of Treloar’s Trust include Michael Aspel, Roger Black, Alistair Stewart, Alan Titchmarsh and Richard Stilgoe. The organisation is currently working towards achieving Vision Treloar’s an ambitious programme of development which will involve relocating the School and Trust to the College site in Holybourne.
