The first of its kind, Marpeting – Advertising & Marketing for Carpeting & Flooring reveals dozens of ways dealers can boost their sales by utilizing powerful principles of consumer influence used every day by Madison Avenue’s biggest and most successful ad agencies. The manual describes over “100 secrets” of insight into the flooring industry’s target buyer mentality and delivers specific tactics to develop a more effective marketing strategy.

“This game-changing, hands-on manual is the product of more than a year of research and work, and we are excited to see the positive impact it will have on our dealers in their market,” said Stefan Hoher, director of marketing technology for Tuftex. “The book is part of a greater training and education initiative, which also includes monthly newsletters and sales training for retail sales associates. The Marpeting manual will be accompanied by a sister website www.marpeting.com, and will include open-source advertisements and online training. The interactive website also features videos, links and additional information to provide a more in-depth look at several marketing topics and will be updated and extended regularly. The interactive additions allow dealers to create a more tailored advertising plan, unique to their customer base and local market.

The Marpeting manual is part of a larger education initiative, designed to consistently offer new marketing and advertising ideas and approaches to Tuftex stakeholders. Additional outlets include a monthly newsletter, “Retail Sales Resource,” which is distributed by the Tuftex sales representatives and can be used for in-store sales training. The topics include sales techniques, psychology, negotiation and more. These newsletters have been available for more than six months, and have been extremely influential for the Tuftex sales force.
