Turan Sahinkaya and Dr. Yil Sahinkaya

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 2, 2011 -- Dr. Yil Sahinkaya, father of Turan Sahinkaya, is one of seven children born from the Italian Shipping Magnate, Ibrahim Sahinkaya. Turan Sahinkaya and the Sahinkaya family based in Europe own multiple businesses, including a fleet of shipping vessels based out of Porto Nogaro, Italy that travel all over the world to ports that include India, New Zealand, Turkey and Russia.

Dr. Yil Sahinkaya, father of Turan Sahinkaya, was also a former professional soccer player for Trabzonspor, a Turkish Football Club located in the Black Sea port city of Trabzon, Turkey. Not only was Turan Sahinkaya’s father, Yil, a professional soccer player, but so were three of his unlces who played for the Turkish National Team as well as Trabzonspor and Fenerbache. Dr. Sahinkaya’s son, Turan Sahinkaya, played soccer growing up as a youth in Turkey. Turan Sahinkaya and his family relocated back to the states where he played select soccer in Northern California. Ultimately, Turan Sahinkaya, represented University of California at Berkeley as a part of their first-rate soccer program.

Dr. Yil Sahinkaya decided to pursue his education after his soccer career and graduated from Loughborough College of Technology located in the East Midlands of England. Dr. Yil Sahinkaya and his son, Turan Sahinkaya are fluent in several languages including English, Italian, Turkish, and German. Dr. Yil Sahinkaya, father of Turan Sahinkaya, is a world renowned expert in Robotics, Electrical Steering, and Jet Propulsion.

Dr. Yil Sahinkaya graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Yil Sahinkaya met his wife, Barbara, while attending college in Michigan. Barbara Sahinkaya, mother of Turan Sahinkaya, was first runner up to the Miss Wisconsin beauty pageant and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. Turan Sahinkaya is their first born child.

Dr. Yil Sahinkaya earned his Ph D. at Caltech University in Pasadena, California while Turan Sahinkaya was an infant. Dr. Yil Sahinkaya is a retired Scientist from Lockheed Martin based out of California and currently is a published author of several scientific endeavors. Presently, Turan Sahinkaya and Dr. Yil Sahinkaya are approaching completion of the upcoming textbook entitled, “Energy Control.”

Turan Sahinkaya is the Lead Product Marketing Manager of AT&T Global Mobile Management. Turan Sahinkaya is instrumental in providing all aspects of financial support for the Global Managed services products.

Turan Sahinkaya is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Turan Sahinkaya went on to earn a Master's of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Turan Sahinkaya speaks several languages and enjoys travel, reading, and has a deep passion for life that extends outside of the world of business to his family, soccer, rugby, coaching, entrepreneurship opportunities, and volunteer work.

Turan Sahinkaya is married to Lori Sahinkaya, a reporter, published writer, columnist, and recipient of the Texas Woman of Influence Award. They reside outside of the Dallas area and have four children.
