TV viewers in general and sports viewers in particular are creatures of habit.
"TV Guide" has become all but obsolete. Sophisticated couch potatoes may use the on-screen guide to find a game, but a majority will flip among a few channels where they're sure to find their favorite sports and teams on the air.
For college football fans, that usually means ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 with an occasional flip to CBS or a regional sports network.
That's a perception the Fox Sports Media Group must try to change.
On this final weekend of the regular season, Fox has two of the bigger telecasts: the inaugural Pacific-12 and Big Ten championship games on Friday and Saturday nights, respectively.
