TV “White Space” Inventor Seeks Legal Action

Athens, Georgia, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 14, 2012 -- An inventor who claims he is the true inventor to TV “White Space” Broadband Internet devices has formally announced he will be seeking legal action against any company who is already or is considering manufacturing and/or marketing TV “White Space” Broadband Internet devices.

Nathan Parker, the 21 year old President/CEO of Mallard Computer, Inc., out of North Georgia, announced today that as the true inventor of TV “White Space” Broadband Internet devices, he will be seeking legal action against any company who has infringed upon his intellectual property or who is contemplating doing so.

“Our company, Mallard Computer, Inc., filed the patents with the USPTO back in 2008 for this type of device, so therefore we are the original inventor of TV ‘White Space’ Broadband Internet devices”, Parker said in a statement. “Any company who is currently manufacturing and/or marketing these devices or has any plans to do such will be contacted our legal department with an official cease and desist order. We are open to licensing our Intellectual Property to any company willing to partner with us. However, we will not tolerate any form of intellectual property infringement of the sort. We have done our part to innovate and protect ourselves, now it is up to any interested partners to work with us in the distribution of this technology. Intellectual property infringement is not the answer and we will not stand for it under any circumstance.”

Companies who have announced plans to manufacture such devices include KTS Wireless, Spectrum Bridge, and Microsoft. When asked about these companies plans, Parker remarked, “They will be receiving a letter from our legal department shortly. They should begin looking for it.”
