Landherr and Go-Green’s mission is to engage auto industry professionals into the education and on-going support to take share of the alternative fuel vehicle market.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
North Carolina, North Carolina, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) July 11, 2011 -- Charlotte, North Carolina, July 11, 2011: After twenty-five years in the publishing industry, Mark Landherr thought he was ready to play golf and enjoy his new home in Waxhaw North Carolina. Within the first year of that peaceful existence, Landherr’s entrepreneurial spirit was stimulated and he decided to take a hard look at what opportunities the long time business owner could engage that would use his experience to lead a team of sales professionals.

Landherr moved to Waxhaw in 2010 and sat with many companies offering business opportunities, but in June 2011 he responded to an advertisement in BizQuest that drew his attention. “There were lots of ads on line, but this one pulled me in as it offered a unique selling proposition that the other sales organizations didn’t have. This was something that was timely and unique enough for me to sink my teeth in,” said Landherr.

And timely it is. With the government’s demand for changes in foreign oil dependency and the public’s demand for more fuel-efficient cars, the right move for Landherr was to “Go-Green.” The company’s model is to set up an infrastructure of existing auto centers across the country with dealer points that will allow them the services and on-going training needed as emerging technologies in the auto industry hit the road. Today, the country is seeing more hybrid and electric cars driving the highways, with little or no locations to repair these vehicles, with exception of the dealers they were purchased from. On July 4, 2011, The New York Times reported that to reach a 56 mile per gallon standard that Obama is pushing could require auto makers to manufacture as much 50% of their fleet to be hybrid or electric. Auto centers across the country are coming on board with Go-Green to take care of the cars on the road today, as well as the millions coming off warranty in the near future.

Go- Green established 24 regions across the United States, with Landherr purchasing the licensing rights to direct the State of North Carolina. He will oversee operations of North Carolina, as well as manage a sales force and serve as liaison with corporate headquarters in Long Island, New York. Landherr is currently recruiting area associates for the state who will oversee their protected territory by servicing the auto centers in their area. “Opportunities like this are scarce in this economy, and few are as timely. I am looking to recruit the best team to bring the auto centers here in North Carolina the support they need to take on the alternative fuel market. I know we can show them that within a few months, the investment is paid and they will be on the road to market share and aggressive profit centers.” North Carolina has over 6,000 auto service centers, but only 250 will be eligible to become Go-Green certified and have their own exclusive territories, designated by zip codes and population.

Auto Centers will be state university certified and have continuing hands-on training; auto specific manuals; location branding; marketing materials; advertising and web programs that will be geo-targeted to their specific location. The company is looking to support the auto center with all the benefits of a franchise without the restrictions such as shared revenue and mandatory practices. This model should prove to be a win for the auto centers that will secure a foothold on the alternative fuel industry throughout North Carolina. With the national policy moving toward half of America’s cars using vehicles that will reduce oil consumption and foreign dependency, Go-Green Auto Centers of North Carolina is in the right place at the right time.

Founded in 2010, Go-Green’s mission is to engage auto industry professionals into the education and on-going support to take share of the alternative fuel vehicle market. Partnering auto service centers will receive initial AFV certification and continued updated training through a partnership with the State University system. GGAC provides model-specific manuals; on-going hands-on training; signage; location branding; marketing and promotion to gain the attention of each auto service center’s local community.
