U.S. Hurdler Ginnie Crawford Starts Her Bid For 2012 London Olympics at U.S. Open Meet at Madison Square Garden

New York, New York - January 27, 2012 - Life is often filled with plenty of obstacles, challenges and in some cases even hurdles. Fortunately U.S. Track & Field star Ginnie Crawford is no stranger to leaping hurdles. The NIKE star clears hurdles smoother than O.J. Simpson leaped over airport furniture in old school Hertz TV commercials. On Saturday, January 28th Crawford will start her journey to the 2012 London Olympic Games, when she runs in USA Track & Field's U.S. Open Track & Field meet at the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York City. She will be competing in the 50 Meter Hurdles against some of the the top Women hurdlers in the world. This will also be the kickoff event for the 2012 Visa Championship Series for the Indoor Season. Crawford is no stranger to performing great on big stages. The former USC Trojan star won two NCAA Championships while in college, as well as two USA National Outdoor Championships as a professional. "With this being an Olympic year and my first meet being held at such an historic sports and entertainment venue like Madison Square Garden I couldn't be more excited! Obviously this meet is a long way from London, but a strong race and win at the U.S. Open would be a great way to start off my year", says Crawford on her anticipation about racing on Saturday. She will joined by fellow N-Vision Marketing Inc. client Olympic Gold Medal sprinter Justin Gatlin, who will running in the 50 Meter Dash. The U.S. Open will air on ESPN2 on January 29th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm EST.

Crawford, a Seattle, Washington native, is also looking forward to competing at the 2012 U.S.A.
