U-Tracking Announces GPS Product Support for Mobi Software

U-Tracking International Inc., a unit of U-Tracking Ltd. , today announced that it will immediately begin to make its line of GPS and mobile electronics devices compatible with Mobile Phones

This makes U-Tracking the first major GPS designer and manufacturer to announce direct support for Mobi application.

Beginning in spring 2010, U-Tracking will offer a Mobi version of its popular tracking software. Used with U-Tracking’s line of tracking products, the U-Tracking software lets users plan and analyze routes. Users can have all the standard U-Tracking Applications at their finger tips on their cell phones. The software also offers interactive analysis tools that will now allow Mobi users to chart a drivers information like speed, idle time, route rate, elevation, and the usual suite of commands.
Also in spring 2010, U-Tracking will make the Mobi upload interface more compatible. The Movi App translates GPS data into performance analysis, online mapping, and route sharing for indoor and outdoor users. Data collected by a U-Tracking GPS device is uploaded to Mobi application where time, distance, speed, elevation, rate analysis is displayed through charts, illustrations, and reports. This activity data can also be displayed as a route and replayed on street, photo, topographic, and elevation maps as well as the popular Google Earth service.

By the end of 2010, U-Tracking intends to have made all its popular hardware and software applications Mobi compatible. This includes the ability to load map data to U-Tracking units via a Mobile Phone as well as waypoint and trip planning applications. Additionally, the U-Tracking Route application will allow users to turn their laptop into a powerful street navigation tool with U-Tracking’s GPS A1 Trax.
