UFO Author/Researcher Anthony F. Sanchez makes major discovery atop famed UFO site, the Archuleta Mesa

Researcher Anthony F. Sanchez, author of the book UFO Highway, along with cameraman Ric Prestel of Sacramento MUFON gained access to the top of Archuleta Mesa where they found and investigated the location of the famed 1996 UFO Crash Site where witnesses from the Apache Jicarilla Nation confirm that an unknown military presence created a controlled perimeter to remove crash site evidence. In addition to the crash site find, Sanchez became the first UFO investigative researcher to discover U.S. Government Property (military grade material) located on the Archuleta Mesa. Anthony's guide to the Nation is a former police officer of the Tribal Law Enforcement agency, and today serves as a Guide for hunting parties to the Mesa and surrounding areas on the reservation.

When asked about the discovery, Sanchez replied, “When I saw the green colored objects, quite large with government issued information plates I immediately asked the guide to stop and drive towards the two objects. Sanchez asked the guide if he had ever seen these before, and his response was an emphatic "No".
