Long evenings and weekends saw the work take shape as both authors juggle full time employment and A-levels with the joy of writing. Andrew is currently working on a historical fiction set in Egypt in Roman times. Both authors enjoy the challenge of putting pen to paper and converting a blank page into a new tale of cunning plot and depth of character.

To celebrate this new release, the e-book will be free to download for three days only from the 13th January. Like the tempest of demons released on an unwary world in the novel, David is hoping for a storm of interest in this promotion.

Drachar is an Eldric Lord who makes a terrible and damning pact with the demons. He offers them one thousand souls in exchange for power. The demons demand one hundred thousand souls and without hesitation Drachar accepts, binding himself to their whims. Set in the same world as Prophecy of the Kings, readers will be familiar with the krell, grakyn and shaols. But the characters are new and the tale fresh as the scene is set for a confrontation between the legendary Eldric and Drachar and his demon horde. The tale tells of Drachar’s banishment and rise to power. Of the people’s fear as he starts to fulfil his pledge. Destroying towns and sending souls screaming to eternal damnation.

David says writing fantasy is just as much fun as reading it. The tale flows from the pen, revealing new ideas as the tale evolves. Often the ideas seem to pop out from nowhere, as though a ghostly hand is helping to write the tale.
