UKTV2C improves customer support with live chat agents
This month sees the introduction of live chat support for all UKTV2C customers visiting UKTV2C.com, as part of the companies ongoing program to improve support and customer relations.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 14, 2011 --
We live in a customer service age and the quality of your customer relations reflects greatly upon your business and it’s worth.
With the fast growth of Internet age, we are becoming perilously close to a detached and distanced world, with customer support being replaced by email, automated telephone systems or foreign, poor spoken third party departments. The end result is terrible customer satisfaction, bad reputations and lost business. Clearly, this trend cannot continue.
UKTV2C.com is fiercely bucking that trend and firmly believes in good, old-fashioned business practices – talking directly to customers, listening to their needs and engaging with them.
This month sees the launch of a new live chat assistant on their website. As an international business, serving hundreds of customers around the globe, long-distance telephone calls are not always possible. They are expensive, not to mention difficult due to time zone constraints. So the next best option is to have a 24-hour online support team available to chat online as CEO and founder Mike Gamble goes on to explain…
“When we started UKTV2C, we knew of the importance of building customer relationships. In the majority of cases, most of our customers were non-technical and hadn’t used a service like ours before.”
“So naturally we knew in the early stages of dealing with them that there would be many technical support questions to answer. Our customers had to have confidence in us. The only way to achieve this was to be there when our customers needed us the most.”
Placed within a fiercely competitive market, UKTV2C.com knows the importance of leading their industrial sector as he continues to explain…
“There are many businesses out their offering varying levels of UK TV abroad – some are cheap, low-budget affairs, some are offering a solid service on a par with ours yet in most cases, we see poor standards in customer service.”
“When you supply an off-shore UK TV service like ours to customers that we are very unlikely to ever meet, it is imperative that we gain their confidence from the outset. If we can’t be at the end of a phone, mainly because we’re tucked up in bed, the next best thing we can do is provide a live chat assistant – operated and manned by real people.”
Mike is right in his thinking. Detailed studied have shown that websites who engage and connect with their audiences have a substantially higher chance of converting visits into real business.
So with these facts in mind, it is surprising to know that very few UK TV services to overseas customer websites actually have a live chat assistant on their homepage.
What does that say about UKTV2C’s competitors? You be the judge of that. As Mike concludes…
“We want to speak to our customers direct and our approach proves this commitment is for the long term. Our customer service policy is simple. We want all of our support staff to be friendly, helpful understanding and dedicated.”
“If you offer all of these ingredients, you are no doubt onto a winning formula!”
