Dr. Diwan, who is also the Chief Operating Officer of the Indian School of Petroleum, an institution providing education, training, research and consultancy services in the entire spectrum of the Indian Oil and Gas industry, did his post graduation in Chemical Engineering in 1983. He also earned a Doctorate in Business Administration on ‘Designing and Development of an Enterprise Resource Planning System’.

His own business experience spans over areas from Production to Design development to academics to research. He has more than 200 papers to his credit and has authored and edited over 40 books on various management and computing subjects.

Dr. Diwan served as Dean & Director of AIMA - Centre for Management Education (1993-2000) where he conceived, designed and implemented new management education models such as Consortium MBA, In-company PGDM, and Executive Doctorate in Business Administration. He was also the Director of Center of Management Services, a division of AIMA that specializes in the aptitude testing of managers.
