USSSA Appoints Mr. Adrian Ellis as National Karate Chairman

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 2, 2011 -- Mr.Adrian Ellis was appointed to USSSA KARATE[ (www.USSSAKarate.com) by the CEO/Executive Director Don DeDonatis. Established in 1968 as the United States Slo-Pitch Softball Association. Over the years, they have grown and in 1997 they changed their name to the United States Sports Specialty Association to represent their multi sports programs throughout the country. Today the USSSA Program boost over 5 million members throughout the United States.

Mr. Ellis asserts that a champion of academics, sports, and/or professional career requires being a champion in one's personal life. Governors and political officials have honored him; he has worked with many corporations, youth groups and various civic organizations around the country. In addition he served as Vice President of the Central Florida Police Athletic League, Developed an Education Martial Arts Program for Educational System, serves as special advisor to the governing body to the Wushu-Kungfu Federation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Adrian supports several non-profit programs Including Adriana’s Angels, and the Police Athletic league, he is an active member of the International Rotary (www.rotary.org), President of the International Karate-Do Organization (www.IKOKARATE.org), and is president of Infinity Protection Service (www.infinityprotection.com).

The USSSA KARATE PROGRAM has gained National attention as a traditional Karate Organization due to the philosophy KARATE FOR ALL, and adhering to the philosophy USSSA has designed with various classifications of tournaments as well as a specialty program for "Recreation & international competition."

As Executive Director of AAU Martial Arts Program, Mr. Ellis guided the AAU Martial Arts program to its largest membership in the history of the AAU. As an athlete Adrian was successful in winning seven consecutive national titles, Goodwill Games Gold medalist, coaching the United States Team, represented athletes to the United States Olympic Committee. Director of Kidzsmart National Safety Program, Tactical Ladies Self-Defense instructor, Recipient of the AAU Man of the Year Award, and a Hall of Fame inductee 2010.
