“Valley Crossroads SDA Elects Roland Hinds as Interim Young Adult Ministry Leader”

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 15, 2012 -- Pacoima, CA – Adventist inspirational speaker and author, Roland Hinds has been appointed to head up the Young Adult Ministry department at Valley Crossroads church.

As the interim ministry leader, he developed and is producing a new spiritual internet radio podcast, Inspiration Free Radio featuring Pastor’s Royal Harrison and Morris Barnes twice a week. Hinds say, “The goal is to spread the gospel utilizing social media such as, FaceBook and other major search engines. There are so many people who are craving the word during these times of uncertainty that our mission is to provide inspiration and hope.” He is optimistic about being part of such a mission with a fantastic group of people who are all serving for the Lord.

In an effort to increase healthy relationships, Hinds continues to build a spiritual platform. He will be releasing his second self-help book, “Living in the World – Dating Christian”, which he will be conducting several seminars and lectures from his new book. Hinds is set to present a series of self-enhancement courses for the Singles Ministry department geared towards “Understanding Head of Household” from a single’s perspectives and “Conflict Resolution” that focuses on how to decipher interpersonal differences with biblical principles.

A 15-minute early morning and Sabbath vesper outreach prayer line has been established to meet the needs college students, parishioners and others non-Adventist who wish to worship from their homes before starting the day. Roland further states, “A family that prays together stays together. It’s a wonderful feeling to pray with a group of people that may want an extra dose of worship. God does answer prayers.” On the eve of Sabbath, the parishioners convene to commune about their week in form of praise and prayer.
