"Venues4Africa is about putting travellers in touch with these smaller establishments," continues Macdonald. "Many travellers prefer a home-from-home experience and travelling between more intimate accommodations lends itself to a completely different travel experience."

Matching travellers with accommodation to suit their tastes and budgets

Travellers are able to use the site to quickly search for accommodation by travel destination or on a map. Top travel areas and holiday hotspots are listed separately in the site's navigation for quick and easy access. Handy search functionality also enables travellers to find what they're looking for with just a few keystrokes.

The accommodation venues are listed with images, as well as information about the services and amenities available at each. Site-users are able to see quickly whether the establishment has been graded by the relevant tourism authorities, as well as the rates per person per night. A live booking feature (where applicable) allows users to check for availability in real-time and to book immediately.

In this way, Venues4Africa amalgamates a host of smaller, boutique properties and accommodation venues in a large and powerful directory.

"We understand that every traveller is different," continues Macdonald. "That's why we've designed the Venues4Africa site in such a way as to allow travellers to find and book accommodation that ideally suits their needs, itinerary and budget."

Pre-book and pre-pay, hassle free
Venues4Africa also solves the problem of online payment. Many smaller establishments may not be able to accept credit card payments. Venues4Africa accepts payment by credit card or direct deposit for accommodation booked through the site. This means that you can book all the accommodation for your trip and make one quick and easy payment. Venues4Africa will then issue you with accommodation vouchers which will include confirmation of your booking and payment as well as directions to the property, contact details and check-in times.
