Veritas, Inc. makes a big donation to Atlanta Humane Society.

Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 17, 2012 -- Atlanta, GA - January 17, 2012 - Veritas, Inc. has a big heart when it comes to animals! The company decided to show how much they care by giving a large donation to the Atlanta Humane Society.

Veritas, Inc. found a fun way to raise money for the local animals at the Atlanta Humane Society by attending a University of Georgia football game the classic way; coach buses, four corn hole sets, and a bunch of friends. Veritas then held a huge corn hole tournament to raise the funds. There were 40+ teams, and each player paid a minimum entry of $10.

"The best thing about having this tournament is the memories created with fellow co-workers, but at the same time raising money to help our local animals." said, Edward Cunliffe, President of Veritas, Inc.
Operations Manager, Trish Griggs said, "To raise more than $500 dollars for the Atlanta Humane Society is a huge accomplishment. It warms my heart to know it's going to such a good cause!"

Veritas, Inc. again is delighted to be able to donate to that Atlanta Humane Society. Due to their corn hole tournament and the entry fees, Veritas, Inc. was able to raise $885. Veritas plans to raise money for the Atlanta Humane Society once a year, and hopes to raise the donation amount each time they hold a charity event for the Atlanta Humane Society.
