Veritas, Inc Raises $3400 for Haiti Gospel Mission

Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 9, 2012 -- Veritas, Inc. brought together 150 individuals at 300 Atlanta Bowling Alley for a Charity Bowl-A-Thon. All proceeds went to the Haiti Gospel Mission. There was a $20 entry fee to play along with a raffle for an iPhone 4s. The entry fee got the player dinner, two rounds of bowling, access to Wii, pool, and darts. The winning team took home trophy bowling pins! The entire group raised an impressive $3400 for the Mission.

The Haiti Gospel Mission uses its funds to accomplish many projects, start programs, and work together with the local community to benefit those who are in need of a hand up instead of just a hand out. They have been able to start people off with small business opportunities, build homes for those in need of one, and they were able to repair many homes damaged in the earthquake. Their goal is to continue what the mission has been doing for over thirty years and do much more in the coming years to help the people of Haiti who are currently living in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. The two main areas Veritas’ proceeds will contribute to are a medical clinic and a school.
