Spaphile plans to differentiate itself from other deal sites by exclusively offering deals for services such as massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, and other beauty, health and wellness services.

“Most of these sites offer a ton of different things, like cooking lessons one day and yoga classes the next,” said Mike Meschures, the president of Spaphile.com. “This is a more targeted effort. The Vida Emanuel deal is $32.50 for a half-hour reflexology massage at their Beverly Hills day spa. Ordinarily the treatment is $75. According to Spaphile.com, “Reflexology relieves tension and clears blockage by stimulating sensory receptors in the nerve fibres of the foot. The energy released then branches to the spinal cord, where it is dispersed throughout the entire nervous system. It relaxes the body and improves circulation.”

Spaphile sends subscribers a new deal for a deeply discounted spa service every week. They also host events where attendees can visit a new spa and try exclusive treatments. Their first event is tomorrow, November 20th, from 3 – 7 p.m. at Pink Taco at the Century City Mall.
