Live On Page™ has led the industry for 4 years in creating the highest quality spokesperson videos. Along with a cast of talented in-house actors, Live On Page™ has been the only provider to offer celebrity talent for hire. Live On Page™ clients have the option of adding a recognizable sports or entertainment celebrity to their website. This can confer a huge leap in credibility. Hiring a celebrity spokesperson has never been an affordable option for any small business until now.
Starting in the second quarter of 2011, Live On Page™ offered a new service called Live eBlast™. The email marketing world has a growing problem with reader engagement. Basically, the more emails we get, the less attention we can devote to reading the emails and the more particular we become with our attention. Live eBlast™ solves this by sending emails that obviously lead to a media rich message platform.
The concept is simple but the results are dramatic. We have seen open rates on emails consistently in the 20-30% range. A preview pane in the email shows an animated GIF image of the actor they will see later in the video, and once they open the email, the click thru rate is often upwards of 30%.
Once they open and click on the image of the actor, they are taken to the Live eBlast STAGE. This is most often a single image, around 720 x 500 pixels, that is related to the email’s topic. The Live On Page™ actor walks out in front of the image and presents a short 20 second message that engages the reader with an attractive offer. These messages will most often end with a call action, asking the viewer to “click on me now”. Once they have clicked, they are taken to the lead capture site or lead capture page.
Of the group that sees the Live eBlast™ Stage video, 30-50% will go on to reach the capture site and complete a response form. Having already sent over a quarter million video eBlast messages, our results show a very consistent percentage of each client’s house list converts to a booked appointment. That percentage, ranging between 1.5%-3%, is consistently higher than success rates for typical direct mail and email.
Live On Page™ uses video to increase the communication power of email marketing. In the process we have turned the industry’s decreasing email response rate back in a positive direction. Plus, the cost of the service reduces the cost per lead to very low levels for all in-house email lists and database mining efforts. The process is still in the testing phase for purchased lists, but as with any direct response marketing, 60% of the success depends solely on the power of the offer.
