He was a young man from a different world plunged into a white-hot, murderous realm of jungle warfare as it was fought by the Marines in Cobe Tom Tom 1967, . Swifty had no way of knowing what awaited him. Nothing could have prepared him, for the madness to come. And in the heat and horror of the jungle, his destination became other worldly.

Here is the death and spiritual journey of a young Marine declared dead. No one could save him, and they pronounced him dead on November 14, 1967 and sent out the Western Union telegram to his mother, informing her of her son's demise in the line of Duty on the fields of Cobe Tom Tom.

But Swifty who was blown apart by a Bouncing Betty, took a journey, one he will never forget. For 25 minutes Swifty is met by his deceased father, and he is brought to Heaven where he finds great joy and peace, and encounters the father son and holy spirit.

Swifty's life is altered, but he spends 3 years in rehab and has 27 operations so that he can live as normal a life.

But his life can never be normal in any sense of the word. His hope and craving is to be able to return to Heaven one day, and deserving of it.
