Vikram Solar Commissions Two Solar Power Plants in India

Kolkata, West Bengal, India, Republic of (Free-Press-Release.com) January 16, 2012 -- Vikram Solar is proud to announce the commissioning of two more MW level solar power plants in India bringing up the commissioned power plants to 8 MW out of the various other large MW level solar power projects that Vikram Solar is on the verge of commission in the near future. The launch falls into strategic alignment with the company's aim of consolidating its position in the green energy industry. The Solar power plants have been launched both in the east and the west coast to create a nationwide presence and thanks to the growing importance of green energy source.

The two projects being, a 5MW plant has just been commissioned in Gujarat in December 2011, a project sponsored by Konark Gujarat PV Pvt Ltd which has been making a steady progress in this field and the second power plant, capable of producing 1 MW has been launched in Rourkela, Orissa, and was sponsored by Molisati Vinimay Pvt. Ltd.
