Stormy Point Village and Branson Collector Car Auction have partnered to host the “All Stars For Autism” Vintage Car Rally. The VCRA is a unique forum for antique, vintage and classic car enthusiasts to participate in an automotive competition based on precision driving and navigational skills in a timed, controlled-speed, and distance endurance race. Teams will be arriving in Branson, Saturday April 30th for the annual Vintage Car Rally April 28-May 1, 2011. The teams, made up of driver and navigator, will pilot their vintage pre-1948 vehicles in a time-speed-distance race. The competition, perhaps one of the most challenging motor sport events in existence, tests the endurance levels of both man and machine. The rallyists have two goals – winning the rally competition and helping to exceed last year’s total of over $60,000 raised for Autism Awareness.

The VCRA was formed in 2006, the VCRA was founded by three veteran rallyists with a combined 50 years in rally competitions including two world rally championships and several top five finishes. The VCRA is fueled by passion for the sport and for the fellowship endeared over many years. Proceeds from the rallies, rally silent auctions, individual donations and event fundraisers benefit the Autism Society of America and or Autism Awareness programs in need. Branson residents Jim and Kathy Cox, owners of the Branson Collector Car Auction, will be co-hosting a luncheon for the rallyists at Branson’s Stormy Point Village, a Summer Winds Resort and the single largest financial contributor to the program.
