Shri Bharadi Temple, among many temples around Malvan is famous in Malvan Taluka. According to a legend, four hundred years ago goddess Bharadi appeared in the village in the form of a stone plaque. Generally in other places dates of the fairs are fixed, but the unique thing about this fair is that the date of the fair is not fixed. It is decided and fixed every year in the month of February by consent of the devotees. A coconut and a sari are offered to the goddess along with prayers. The Anganewadi fair is also popular as Bharadi Devi Fair. The fair lasts for one and a half days only. The religious rituals of Anganewadi Jatra start at 4 am and ends at 10 am.
On the first day the ladies of the village prepare large quantities of food and this food is offered to the devotees as Prashad. Next day the religious rituals start early morning at 4 AM and continue till afternoon. Even though the fair lasts for one and a half days various entertainment programs like music, the most luring Malvani folk dramas, shopping and much more continues for a period of four to five days. The popularity of the fair can be easily judged from the queue for Darshan stretching to a length of around two km.

Anganewadi is only around fifteen km from Malvan. Hotels in Malvan are occupied to their full capacity during this fair.
