The long-awaited day when an all-electric vehicle is available at your preferred Bonita Springs car dealer is closer than ever. The Ft. Myers Volvo C30 Drive Electric was recently put on display and available to car experts for test drive at the Los Angeles Auto Show, where green technology, alternative drivetrains and electric cars are a dominant presence. The Volvo C30 Drive Electric was very well-received and has left everyone at Volvo of Fort Myers very excited for its release.

The Volvo C30 Drive Electric will be the very first all-electric vehicle to come to market. The Ft. Myers Volvo C30 was carefully selected to take on the role of such an important new model – it is the smallest and lightest car in Volvo’s line-up and also features an attractive drive with the practicality of a hatchback. In short, it was the perfect candidate to become a groundbreaking, all-electric vehicle.
The fully electric C30 runs on a lithium-ion battery which sends power to an electric motor. The 24kWh Enerdel battery pack can be charged through an AC outlet in just seven hours. On a full charge, the vehicle has a 94 mile range, making it the perfect commuter vehicle. This car is able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 10.5 seconds and reach top speeds 81 miles per hour.
