Two hundred lucky winners of an open ballot contest were taken to the Volvo Ice camp to enjoy the Snowbombing experience.

Volvo has created its Ice Camp for the fourth year. The Ice camp is located on snow covered Kitzsteinhorn Glacier which is 2500 meters above sea level. It covers a 5000 square meter area. It includes four large interconnected igloos with a car showroom and an ice bar with ice tables, seven separate sleeping igloos, a barrel sauna, heated Jacuzzi, and an ice climbing tower.
The visitors experience was like a personal “tune-up” as they found their stress melting away. Their choices included checking out the vehicles in the showroom, having a drink at the ice bar, relaxing on the sundeck, using the Jacuzzi and sauna, and enjoying listening to music presented by Radio 1’s Annie Mac, queen of the turntables. The beautiful surroundings coupled with the activities made for a very relaxing and enjoyable retreat from the stresses of everyday life.
