The public then votes on the accepted submissions throughout the month. The plans with the most votes will receive grants in the amount of $5,000, $25,000, $50,000 or $250,000.

“This specific project consists of sustainably renovating one home and sprucing up a nearby park for the residents, especially the children in the community. It’s important to have a nice, safe and green space for people to gather and kids to play in,” said Paulina.
