Warner power announces a new ultra-high precision power transducer line

WARNER, New Hampshire, USA, January 6, 2012 - Announcing the Company's new precision transducer line, Senior V-P Peter Amos says, "Warner Power is a leader in the field of electrical power supplies for industrial processes. Working closely with our customers, we recognize the need for very precise measurement and control, so we are very pleased to introduce our new integrated Power Transducer family. We believe this is a benchmark for this industry. This new line can materially improve the performance, quality and yield in a variety of industrial processes, providing additional value to our customers."

With a frequency response from DC to 100 kHz, the fully isolated Power Transducer captures the entire power spectrum, including any transients and harmonics, to deliver precise Root Mean Square (RMS) power values, as a DC 0-10V output. Other outputs are RMS voltage, RMS current, and a fast inhibit signal for over-current protection. Warner Power claims a precision of +/- 0.2% of actual reading.

The precision transducer line covers DC, single and three phase power. Standard and custom units are available, which in conjunction with suitably sized shunts, cover a wide range of power up to 1,000kVA or kW
