Washington, DC Based Company, 1 of 4 to Get Certified in Cisco Entrepreneur Institute’s First N. American Class

Washington, DC – Group Interactive, Inc., an experiential and progressive youth workforce development and youth entrepreneurship curriculum design company, announced today that it was one of the first four companies to get certified in North America for the Cisco Entrepreneur Institute. The other three were Advanz, LLC, Mental Health Association (MHA) and Central Tech, all based in Erie, PA. The Cisco Entrepreneur Insitute provides a robust virtual learning environment that integrates best in breed software, online learning tools and partners including Web Ex, HP, Salesforce.Com, Moodle and Cornell University. While the Cisco Entrepreneur Institute is new to North America, it has been successfully deployed internationally for more than 4 years. They have an extremely strong footprint in South Africa, Brazil, Colombia and all throughout Eastern Europe.

The approved courses are Cisco Certified Instructor led and taught through Cisco’s Web Ex online platform which integrates a virtual whiteboard and shared desktop application. The courses are presented in a multimedia format, including videos, audio and simulation based activities which appeals to today’s technologically savvy young entrepreneurs. Some of the courses include: Starting a Business, Growing a Business, Entrepreneurial Mindset, Computer Literacy and Career Essentials.
