“We are proud to work with the City of Irvine and County of Orange to create greater awareness about recycling and the benefits to the environment,” said Chrystal Denning of Waste Management of Orange County. “Recycling is easy, good for the environment and good for the local economy and we want to encourage the residents of Irvine to recycle more on America Recycles Day and every day. The bags and buckets are two simple tools that can help make recycling more convenient.”
The City of Irvine is sponsoring the bags to promote recycling and encourage sustainable living. In addition, to help promote proper disposal of electronics, batteries and other hazardous wastes, the center will provide battery buckets and trays courtesy of the County of Orange.
