Wave IMS Takes Social Networking to the Wild

DALLAS, TX –Wave Integrated Marketing Solutions has provided a new outreach tool for WildCare, Inc., by developing a Facebook page for the rescue organization. The social networking page is part of the agency’s volunteer efforts for the nonprofit group and will be used to raise funds as well as to recruit members and volunteer rehabilitators.

WildCare (www.wildcaretx.com) is dedicated to the care of ill, injured or orphaned native wildlife until the animals recover and have grown to an age at which they can safely be released back into the wild. Volunteers receive training on how to feed, house and care for wildlife in a way that will ease their return to independence. The organization relies solely on individual donations.

Through its new Facebook page (facebook.com/wildcaretx), WildCare can inform and educate people in all age groups. Currently, Facebook reaches more than 133 million people in the United States, with growth in excess of 100% per year.
