Web traffic on Article Directories expected to recover

This is because a large percentage of internet users are either surfing shopping sites like Amazon and Buy.com, rather than searching for informative content. Additionally, a large proportion of users are also traveling, holidaying and busy shopping in malls.

A typical Article Directory can experience a drop of 5% to 30% page views and the traffic they receive from search engines. The traffic then gradually recovers in the first week of January. It is also quite common for these Article Directories to receive lesser number of article submissions too.
