Web Wise Kids President Recognized with Industry Award for Online Safety

President of Web Wise Kids receives FOSI Award for Outstanding Achievement. The Family Online Safety Institute recognizes individuals for their contributions in promoting online safety.

Washington D.C., December 1st 2011 – Web Wise Kids, a national non-profit organization and recognized leader in Internet safety education, announces Judi Westberg Warren, President of Web Wise Kids, has been honored with the FOSI Award for Outstanding Achievement. Web Wise Kids is a non-profit organization committed to educating children and parents in digital citizenship.
Under Judi’s leadership, Web Wise Kids programs have reached over 10 million youths and thousands of parents nationwide. Judi Westberg Warren has nearly two decades of experience with non-profit organizations and has served as President of Web Wise Kids since 2004.
The award, one of eight given at the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) Annual Conference & Exhibition, recognizes individuals for their tremendous contributions in promoting online safety. The Family Online Safety Institute is an international non-profit that works to develop a safer Internet through events, public policy, technology and online safety.
The awards were announced Wednesday night, November 9th at a reception that was part of the FOSI 2011 Annual Conference and Exhibition. The conference took place November 9-10th at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC. The conference featured over 80 speakers, 26 exhibitors and more than 450 attendees from 13 different countries. To view photos from the night click here.
