Webs Pairs with Non-Profit Building Hope, Inc. to Give for the Holidays

Working with Building Hope Inc., a non-profit that sponsors disadvantaged single parent families that aspire to self sufficiency and stability, the employees of Webs have committed to fulfilling the holiday gift wish lists of more than 60 different families.

“This holiday season is a time to give back to the local community,” said Haroon Mokhtarzada, CEO of Webs, Inc. “One of our employees, Dom Williams, is the son of Building Hope’s founder, Coressa Williams, and through him we learned about their commitment to helping displaced families with employment and other support services. Webs employees have been given “Angels” by Building Hope, with each Angel representing the Christmas wish list of one family in need. Each Webs employee fulfills the wish of the family by purchasing the gift written on the Angel. Gifts such as clothing, toys for youngsters, and other basic necessities are then presented to the families, allowing the families to celebrate the holidays with their wishes and needs fulfilled.

Webs joins a growing list of well-known Washington DC based companies and organizations that have helped Building Hope achieve its goals for underprivileged families. The Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles, Cort Furniture, Marriott Hotels and others have all worked with Building Hope to see to the basic needs of families who would otherwise be unable to provide for themselves.
