Wee-cycle Mart Children's Consignment Sale comes to Baltimore

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 11, 2009 -- Wee-cycle Mart , founded by mother-and-daughter team Clair Dobry and Blaney Dobry-Spinielli, will hold its Baltimore County semi-annual sale of children’s consignment items from Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23, at 1803 York Road, at the site of the old Scan Store in Timonium. Attendees are encouraged to bring food items, which, along with a portion of the proceeds, will be donated to Harvest for the Hungry.

The Wee-cycle Mart sale enables moms to purchase reasonably priced, quality used children’s items, while letting consignor moms clean out what they no longer need. Besides seasonal clothing, the sale offers toys, baby equipment like strollers, swings, exersaucers, high chairs, cribs, bassinettes, pack ‘n plays, and the like, as well as sports items, Halloween costumes, books, videos, DVDs, room décor, and arts & crafts, including scrapbooking, and so much more. The sale is set up like a store, with like items grouped in the same sections. Checkout is at the end.

New moms (women expecting or moms with a child under 1 year of age) can reserve a pass online to attend the Thursday night Pre-Sale. Only 100 passes—that admit the mom and one guest—are available. Price for the reserved pass is $5 and can be acquired by going to www.wee-cyclemart.com.

The hours for the regular weekend sale are as follows: Friday, August 21, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, August 22, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Sunday, August 23, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $2 per person or $1 and a bag of food items. Saturday is Mom’s Fest and features a baby photo contest, free facials, jewelry for purchase, crafters, and more. Also on Saturday, moms will get a punch card. If they visit all 12 vendors on the card, they will receive a coupon for 5 to 10% off their entire purchase. Sunday is half-price day, where deals abound.
