Weller Haus Bed & Breakfast Celebrates Local Target Store Opening By Giving Away Target Gift Cards With Overnight Stays.

Cincinnati, Ohio, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 22, 2011 -- Weller Haus Bed and Breakfast, located in Bellevue, Kentucky and just across the river from downtown Cincinnati, wants you to join them in celebrating the long-awaited opening of the new Target Store in Newport, Kentucky—less than one mile from the property. During the months of March and April, 2011, Weller Haus is giving away Target gift cards to customers choosing to stay in one of their unique guest rooms. Guests are eligible for either $25 or $15 gift cards depending on the day of their stay and the room booked.

“I’m a huge Target fan” says Leanne Saylor, owner of Weller Haus Bed and Breakfast, “and have been waiting a very long time for this store to open. What better way to celebrate the good fortune of getting a store in our immediate area than to give away gift cards to our guests.” While Saylor is a big proponent of “shopping local” in Bellevue’s charming Fairfield Avenue Historic District, she says there are some things you just can’t get in downtown Bellevue—like the gallons of laundry detergent used at her inn. Saylor states, “We always promote local shopping to our guests and encourage them to enjoy the quaintness of Bellevue—but sometimes it’s necessary to go outside the district for staples and we want our guests to enjoy all shopping opportunities available in the area.”

The promotion begins February 22, 2011 for NEW reservations booked for the months of March and April, 2011. Customers staying at Weller Haus during the week—Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday will earn a $25 gift card for each day of their stay if they are in one of the double jacuzzi suites. Booking into either of the two standard rooms will earn guests a $15 gift card for each day of their stay during the week. For guests that want to stay on the weekend, Weller Haus will be giving one $25 gift card for each two night stay in the jacuzzi suites or one $15 gift card for a two-night stay in a standard room. When booking any reservation for this special promotion, either online or on the phone, guests must request the “Target Special” in order to receive their free gift cards. Weller Haus is offering this promotion in conjunction with their standard rates of $199/$159/$139 (before taxes) and will not be permitting any other discounts or the use of any gift cards, gift certificates, Groupons or free night certificates when using the Target Special. Previously booked reservations for March and April are not eligible for the promotion, nor can they be cancelled and rebooked.

“We think this is a great way to jump start the beginning of spring, celebrate the new Target and give our guests a little extra something as a way of saying ‘thank you for choosing us’. Think of it as an early staycation”, says Saylor. While she did indicate the new store doesn’t open until March 6, the gift card promotion (which is not sponsored by Target) is available as of March 1, 2011.
